"Excellent all round dining experience which we strongly recommend. It's over 2 years since we last wrote a review and we have visited Half Moon on numerous visits to Devon in the intervening years. We were a tad alarmed to hear that it had changed hands so absolutely delighted to make our first visit under the new management and find it every much as good an experience as before. Delightful new owners who made us welcome and provided first class service.

"We eat here quite often and the food quality does not vary. In fact we are eating there tomorrow and on 10th January.It is popular with Exeter Chiefs rugby fans before a game.Changed hands recently with a couple from New Zealand who used to run a pub in Exmouth. Food quality has not changed, some meals come as large or medium portions priced accordingly which is good for small appetites. Good pub atmosphere, need to book."
